Northland’s Seafood Festival – at Marsden Cove

If you enjoy good wine and seafood and are looking for an enjoyable outing to celebrate the arrival of spring, Northland’s Seafood Festival may be the answer. The event is held at Marsden Cove usually early in spring.

This fun filled, one-day event showcases the best of Northland’s seafood and wines and takes place in a large marquee overlooking Marsden Cove Marina. The Festival begins at 10am and concludes at 5pm.

Inside, around the perimeter of the marquee will be a number of stall holders offering a range of foods, wines and associated product retailers displaying and selling their wares. Food hall style of dining is available within the centre of the marquee along with a stage for entertainment and cooking demonstrations. Visitors are able to purchase a variety of seafood products direct from stallholders.

Entertainment generally showcases the best of local Northland talent in a variety show style, which most often includes a number of local musicians including jazz artists, and sometimes, comedy acts.

100 corporate tables serviced by trained waiting staff with are set up in a semi-enclosed area with good views of the entertainment stage.
