Your hosts are an eclectic bunch that are both worldly and resourceful yet discerning and capable. Our aim is to make your stay a thoroughly enjoyable and friendly one and we will do whatever we can to help you relax and sample the very best that is on offer.

Alternatively you may choose to hire the whole lodge for yourselves on a self contained basis. In which case we can provide remote assistance where necessary and servicing as appropriate.

Catering

On arrival you will be greeted with a tasty platter of treats and a great bottle of kiwi wine to help kick start your stay. Depending on your preference, your host can also cook you up a great meal; or you may prefer to have one of our talented chef’s come in to pamper you with the very best local cuisine. On request, we can also organise for you a picnic basket of sumptuous goodies for that special day excursion discovering the fabulous outdoors. Our lodges come with breakfast included. If you are being hosted it will be our pleasure to make it for you.

Hosted Dining

One of the simplest pleasures to enjoy is to sit back and watch someone else take care of dinner! Although we are not trained chefs, we know how to whistle up a tasty meal in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Rather than have a set menu, we’ll simply ask you what you feel like on the day. It could be fresh snapper or crayfish you’ve just caught or a tasty fillet of beef or rack of lamb. Alternatively it could be a fresh pot of hearty soup or a vegetable curry. Either way, we’ll gain a consenus with any other guests that might be joining us and hey presto, a true kiwi entertaining feast will delight the senses!

Executive Chef Dining

Alternatively you may want to indulge in an one or expert executive chefs for that full on five star meal. Our recommended chefs have all achieved excellent reputations in cafes and restaurants from throughout New Zealand. Using a mix of vibrant local, pacific and asian cuisines, they will fuse styles to bring you the very best in taste sensation straight to your waters edge table.
